A bathroom renovation does take some planning and preparing before jumping in. If you are thinking about a bathroom remodel, you may be needing a little guidance.

Here we will show you 3 basic design styles to help you decide which is right for your new bathroom!

Traditional

Traditional design is the most formal and dignified of all interiors and usually describes architecture and furnishings from the 17th,  18th and 19th centuries. To achieve a traditional look in your bathroom renovation, go with a neutral colour palette, rich wood cabinetry with detailed door profiles and mouldings, a clawfoot tub, and ornate hardware.

Contemporary

Contemporary design has an emphasis on architectural shapes, with strong, lineal interest created by blocks of space defined by connective elements.  Straight grains prevail in cabinetry, and when doors are not stainless steel or glass, they are typically slab doors. If you are looking for a contemporary styled bathroom incorporate straight lines, clean crisp colours, and sleek fixtures.

Transitional

Transitional is the most diverse range of styling as it is a modern combination of both Traditional and Contemporary styling. Blending the dignified feel of traditional with modern, clean elements of contemporary.  Transitional signifies a passage or evolution from one style to another. Interested in transitional styling for your bathroom remodel? Incorporate traditional features such as natural tiles with contemporary fixtures and clean line cabinets.
